Dr. Long is a highly motivated leader who keeps our office on the cutting edge of health. He grew up knowing about chiropractic but didn't start on that path until after being a pilot, a business owner, and a father. However once started, he has never looked back and has continued to learn about the most effective natural forms of health care available to date.
Dr. Long graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 2001. While at CCC he was a member of the National Honor Society. In 2003 he received a certificate of completion from the Spinal Research Institute of San Diego (SRISD) Crash Institute. In 2004 he graduated from the SRISD after completing the Intensive program. He then decided to learn from the leading authority in enzyme therapy, Dr. Howard F. Loomis Jr. In 2006, he earned his certification as a Loomis Internal Health Specialist through Wisconsin University. As a Loomis practitioner, Dr. Long specializes in organ function, cellular communication and detoxification.
Dr. Long is a laser and decompression specialist using the latest cold laser therapy and decompression technologies on the market today. Dr. Long has been able to assist countless patients find relief from bulging/herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, facet syndrome, and failed back surgery without the use of drugs, injections or surgery.
Drs. Long started Adjust4Life Wellness Center in 2002. Their purpose is to provide excellent chiropractic care, massage therapy, acupuncture,nutritional assessments and other clinical services. Their strong passion for family care is evident in their practice, as approximately 30% of their patients are children.
In 2003 they received the Outstanding Family Practice Award from National Family Practice, Inc. In 2006 they received the Award of Excellence from Teach The World About Chiropractic. They desire to bring increased health awareness to families in our community through the Extreme Makeover God's Way (EMGW), and other educational programs.
Dr. Long has a passion for education and healing that can not be ignored. She first received chiropractic care herself after a swimming accident in high school. After experiencing great results and seeing her mom get relief for TMJ problems and migraines, she entered the exciting field of chiropractic.
Dr. Long graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 2000. She has consistently gone the extra mile when it comes to serving her patients. While at CCC she received both the Clinic Service Award & the Clinic Excellence Award for outstanding service & patient care while serving in the student & out-patient clinics at Cleveland Chiropractic College. In 2000 she earned state certification in Acupuncture. In 2004, she earned National Certification in Equine and Small Animal Chiropractic. She is one of only seven animal chiropractors in State of Missouri, and one of only seven in the state of Kansas certified by American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA).
Animals have always been part of Dr. Long's life. She's rescued too many strays to count, has always cared for furry friends, and has a heart to help those who can't always help themselves. Now she has the joy of helping restore health to human patients and their best friends. Two days each week, Dr. Long can be found at Adjust4Life, her "2-legged practice" and three days each week she can be found working on small animals at Green Summit Animal Clinic and making barn calls for horses throughout the greater Kansas City area, as well as at Strain Equine Services in Bonner Springs, KS and Holt Animal Clinic in Holt, MO. She is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri.

Dr. Hering-Biggs graduated as the valedictorian of her class at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. While a student at CCC, Dr. Biggs earned the Academic Excellence Award, Clinic Service Award, and was inducted into the Pi Tau Delta Honor Society. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Kansas State University.As a board eligible Chiropractic Internist, Dr. Biggs enjoys using multiple chiropractic techniques, as well as nutritional and lifestyle advice to help her patients get the best results possible. She has completed extra training in the care of children and pregnant women and has Certification in Chiropractic Family Practice. She is a Fellow of the Acupuncture Society of America, completed a rotation at the Veterans Administration Hospital, and is working towards a diplomate as a Chiropractic Internist.
